December 8, 2010
BOSTON—If you ride the T and always wanted a station sign, there's now a way to get one without stealing it.
Underground Signs announced Wednesday it's signed an agreement with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority to immediately begin selling replicas of the signs in all 270 MBTA stations.
Signs will have the same look, design, color and fonts found in stations in Boston and the suburbs. The MBTA will receive 10 percent of sales.
Underground Signs already sells New York subway signs for home and office use.
In New York, Grand Central Station and 161th St./Yankee Stadium are among the most popular of the 423 signs for sale.
